Riccardo Bee is considered one of the most influential Italian mountaineers of the 70s and 80s. He completed many difficult climbs, especially in the Dolomites. He fell to his death while establishing a new winter climb solo on the north face of Mount Agner, the highest wall of the Dolomites and one of the most severe peaks in the Alps.
