Jury for the best short film

A novelty at this year's edition of ECHO will be the special jury for a short film. Part of the creative team behind Drim Short film festival - from Struga, which held its 7th edition this year, will evaluate the short films that applied in that category of EHO this year and will announce the best of them.

Members of the jury will be: Lidija Mojsovska Jacob Poposki Rade Gogoski

Lidija was born in Struga in 1993. In 2017, he graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje, department of film and TV directing. Her debut short feature film "Nagrada" won 18 international recognitions and awards. The second short feature film "Only the devil is afraid of water" was part of the prestigious screenplay development platform ESP Nisi Masa and had its international premiere at the Tallinn festival POFF Shorts. She is currently working on her third short feature film "It Can Happen to Anyone" and the screenplay for her debut an all-night movie

Jakov was born in Struga in 1988. In 2013, he graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies in Skopje. In 2015, he enrolled in master's studies at the Film Institute - Film Academy Ohrid, where he completed his studies in Screenwriting and Dramaturgy. In 2021, he enrolled at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje, in the second cycle of studies, Film and TV Script module. With his screenplay "Only the devil is afraid of water" he was part of the NISI MASA European Short Pitch 2019, together with the director Lidija Mojsovska, and the film had its international premiere at the Tallinn POFF Shorts festival. His second film "One Ton of Ice Cream" directed by Sandra Gheorgieva won the Best Pitch Award for post-production at the Pack & amp; Pitch at the Sarajevo Film Festival in 2021. In 2022 his short script "Certificate of Life" was part of Midpoint Shorts 2022/2023. Currently he is working on the feature-length script "Russia of The Mind" produced by unaFilm from Berlin.

Rade is a cinematographer born in 1989 in Struga. In 2017 he writes master's studies at the Film Institute - Ohrid Film Academy, at the Department of Cinematography. As Director of Photography, he has participated in international projects for productions from Qatar, Ireland, England and the countries of the Balkans. He is currently working on two short films, "Way Out" from Kosovo which is in the post-production phase and "Guri" from Montenegro which is in the pre-production phase. 7th
